Our client was traveling northbound on the interstate, having merged into the highway from an entrance ramp, and was in the middle lanes. Another driver was traveling northbound to the left of our client. The other driver told the police that he attempted to make a sharp right lane change toward an exit. Our client was a passenger in a car owned by the dealership he works for. They were rear-ended by a commercial truck, causing their car to be pushed into the vehicle in front of them, which had two occupants. No one other than our client went to the ER at JFK. Our client was driven to the ER by a co-worker and was treated and released.
Mom and daughter were in the vehicle. A commercial AC van potentially ran a red light, either hitting or forcing our client off the road into a ditch. Our client went off the road and possibly struck a tree. They were able to see the logo of the AC company on the van, and witnesses also reported seeing it. The adverse driver initially fled the scene but later returned. The police on the scene collected his information. We only have a business card with the case number.
